County to Spray Upper Morleand Roads for West Nile Virus
The Montgomery County Health Department has reported cases of West Nile Virus carried by mosquitoes in the Eastern Montgomery County region.
The Montgomery County Health Department has scheduled targeted spraying from a truck-mounted sprayer on Aug. 17 (rain date Aug. 18) between 8:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
The locations will include and surrounding streets:
- Acorn
- Butternut
- Pioneer
- Shoemaker
- Jason Drive
- Gum Place
- Oakwood
- Elder
The county may add additional streets in the same area. Positive tests for WNV have been recorded throughout Eastern Montgomery County by the Health Department and residents are encouraged to use appropriate precaution when outside.
