Instructors from each of the 14 career programs will provide presentations

Eastern Center for Arts and Technology, located at 3075 Terwood Road in Willow Grove, will hold an open house from 1 – 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 27.

SkillsUSA officers, Eastern students elected to the school’s student council, will be dressed in red jackets and guiding guests throughout the day.

Eastern students come from several surrounding school districts, including Upper Moreland, Upper Dublin, Abington and Hatboro-Horsham.

Visitors will also get the opportunity to meet with the school’s occupational advisory committee, local business representatives that complement the instruction of the specialized career programs.

According to Shields, Eastern also offers a “Student Warranty,” which guarantees students relevant and useful skills needed to attain jobs in the career programs they’ve chosen for up to one year.

“We’re very confident with the success of all our graduates,” Shields said.
