Local Church to Host "Surviving the Holidays" GriefShare Event

Dresher, PA 19025, will host a "Surviving the Holidays" seminar event.

According to griefshare.org, a website dedicated to the networking of grief recovery support groups, Surviving the Holidays events are held around the world at local churches, where "group discussion helps you deal with the intense pain of grief during the holiday season."

The griefshare.org website further describes the Surviving the Holidays event:

• Watch a 40-minute video, filled with practical tips on how to survive the holidays.

• Hear from others in your group who are dealing with grief this holiday season.

• Have the opportunity to share how grief is affecting you (if you’d like).

• Receive a personal Holiday Survival Guide

The Surviving the Holidays event at New Life Presbyterian Church will take place on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 - 11 a.m. in Room 306.

Registration for this event is $5.  Childcare is not provided at this event.
