Final Event of WG 300 Celebration Scheduled for June 12

Sunday, June 12, has been designated Willow Grove Tri-Centennial Day at Abington Hospital's June Fete Village Fair. has hired the Tri-County Band of Feasterville, and the band will play a selection of John Philip Sousa music from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. The Fairgrounds are located on Edge Hill Road, across from the Pennypack Restoration Trust.

In an effort to encourage Willow Grove and Upper Moreland residents to attend that day, the WG 300 Committee has purchased 200 admission tickets, and they will be available at the Parks & Recreation office at no cost, a $4 saving on admission to the Village Fair. The Upper Moreland Parks and Recreation office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and it's located on the first floor of the .

The township would like to see a big turn out for this special day, which is also the final event of the Willow Grove Tri-Centennial.
