Former Upper Moreland Dunkin Donuts Employee Sent To Jail For Assaulting Teen Coworkers
Gregory Antonio Roach, 23, of Philadelphia, will be heading to county jail for assaulting two teenage Dunkin Donuts coworkers in 2018.
UPPER MORELAND, PA — A 23-year-old Philadelphia man is heading to county jail for having indecent contact with two teenage girls with whom he worked at a Willow Grove Dunkin Donuts back in late 2018.
Gregory Antonio Roach was recently given a prison sentence of nine to 23 months at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility following his guilty plea in July to indecent assault by forcible compulsion and false imprisonment of a minor, according to court records and news reports.
Roach had been facing other criminal charges, but they were ultimately dismissed before the guilty plea, according to court records.

Roach's arrest stemmed from allegations that he sexually abused a 16-year-old former coworker at the Dunkin Donuts on Easton Road in November 2018.
Roach, who was 20 years old at the time, was ultimately fired from his job after another coworker, this one 17 at the time, also lodged a complaint against Roach stating that he was inappropriate with her as well.

The Times Herald newspaper of Norristown said that Roach showed no emotion as Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas C. Branca sentenced him to county jail.
The paper further reported that the defense and prosecutors came to an agreement with regard to maximum sentencing sought, urging no more than 23 months behind bars since Roach, who came to the U.S. from Jamaica as a teenager, would likely be deported now that he has been convicted of a crime.
The paper said the fact that Roach may be deported was the only reason the judge wasn't imposing a stricter sentence given the severity of the crimes.
The criminal docket sheet in the case shows that prior to the guilty plea on the two charges, Roach was facing numerous other charges, both misdemeanors and felonies, including, but not limited to, simple assault, harassment, sexual assault and strangulation.
The two charges to which Roach ultimately pleaded guilty — indecent assault by forcible compulsion and false imprisonment of a minor — vary in severity. The former is a first-degree misdemeanor and the latter is a second-degree felony.
