Free Crafts at A.C. Moore, Get 'Flushed Away'

Kids (and parents too) can get “Flushed Away” during the Upper Moreland Free Public Library’s movie showing of the animated movie on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. See a clip of the Dreamworks film here.

A.C. Moore, 110 Park Ave., in Willow Grove, will host a free make and take craft event on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Kids can make a scratch art tube. Click here for more details. 

Students looking to participate in an Upper Moreland fall sports camp should turn in their PIAA physical form signed and dated no earlier than June 1; a signed concussion signature page; and a signed Pennsylvania Department of Health signature page prior to the start of the Aug. 12 camps.

Speaking of sports, you can support local golfer Brian Cutler, an employee at Golfsmith in Willow Grove, as he takes on a 109-hole golf fundraiser on Monday. More here on how you can help Cutler raise money for a rare form of childhood cancer. 

You can give the gift of life with a donation to the American Red Cross. Blood donations are accepted Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Willow Grove American Red Cross, 31 Easton Road in Willow Grove.
