Man Admits Stealing $44K from Upper Moreland Landscaper
An ex-employee of an Upper Moreland landscaping company admitted to stealing thousands.

Eric Terence Marnell, 32, of the 1200 block of Mercy Street, admitted that he stole about $44,400 from Sauers Tree and Landscaping Service between April 2011 and August 2011.
According to a Phillyburbs.com story, Marnell could be sentenced to 3-and-a-half to seven years; Montgomery County Judge Joseph Smyth postponed sentencing so he could learn more about Marnell.

Marnell was a project manager for the landscaping company, in charge of collecting payments, giving estimates and overseeing work, according to the story. He stole the money in the form of cash payments from 13 customers, according to the criminal complaint, and provided free tree services for a friend.
According to court documents, Marnell was charged with 15 counts of theft.
