DUI

  • On Jan. 14 at 3:58 a.m., police stoppped Alicia Diamond, 23, of the 2400 block of Ardsley Avenue in Glenside, after an officer observed her make a left turn onto Easton Road from northbound York Road in the Willow Grove section of the township.  This intersection is clearly posted “No Left Turn.” The officer observed Diamond was intoxicated.  According to police, she submitted to a chemical blood test. The results of this blood test showed Diamond's blood alcohol level was 0.095 percent.  The test results also showed the presence of a controlled substance.  Police said she has been charged with DUI and related charges.
  • On Jan. 29 at 3:26 a.m., George Moll, 31, of of Woodbine Court in Horsham, was stopped after an officer observed his vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on the icy roads.  Police said Moll also passed through the intersection of Welsh and Blair Mill roads in the right turn lane, which is posted for right turns only.  Moll was found to be intoxicated, according to police. He submitted to a chemical breath test, which yielded a result of 0.08 percent. Moll has been charged with DUI and related offenses, police said.
  • On Jan. 30 at 3:15 a.m., Kyle Kelly, 25, of Spruce Court in Newtown, was stopped after an officer observed him make a left turn from Center Avenue on Moreland Road in the Willow Grove section of the township. Signage at this intersection indicates that all traffic must turn right. According to police, Kelly was found to be intoxicated.  He submitted to chemical breath testing, which yielded a result of 0.112 percent. Kelly has been charged with DUI, police said.
