DUI'S

  • On April 16, at 2:39 a.m., police stopped William Augustus Conner Jr., 38, from the 400 Block of Davisville Road in Willow Grove, on York Road after observing him weaving between two southbound lanes of travel. Conner's breath test resulted in a .12 percent.
  • On April 17, at 2:59 a.m., police stopped Sharon Diller, 43, from the 700 Block of Turnberry Court in Cape May Courthouse, N.J.,  on Easton Road after observing her traveling over the posted speed limit. Diller failed her sobriety tests and breath test. (.15 percent).
  • On April 17, at 11:17 p.m., police stopped Ronald Murph, 29, from the 400 Block of Easton Road, on Easton Road after observing him driving too slow and driving on the wrong side of the road. Murph refused to blood tests and was charged accordingly.

Thefts

  • On April 15, at 7:23 p.m., police arrested John  Nagel, 2o, from the 1100 Block of Meadowbrook Road in Jenkintown, after attempting to steal two pairs of sneakers valued at $15 a piece at Wal-Mart, 2101 Blair Mill Road. During a search of Nagel at the Police station, packets of suspected heroin and numerous items of paraphernalia were located on him. Nagel was charged with numerous drug charges and retail theft.
  • On April 17, at 8:40 p.m., Christopher Gill, 26, from the 200 Block of Moreland Road in Willow Grove, and Kaitlyn O'Brien, 23, from the unit Block of Park Road in Ambler, were both cited for retail theft after concealing items while at Wal-Mart, 2101 Blair Mill Road. Gill was stopped by security, O'Brien fled the scene. Items totaled $69.00. Both were cited through the mail.

Burglaries

  • Approximately $5,000 worth of copper wire and a $2,000 electrical transformer were stolen from a business on Wyandotte Rd. It was unknown how entry was gained to the building. The burglary is suspected to have occured between March 17 and April 17.
  • On April 17, at 10:38 p.m., a resident from the 400 block of Ashley Drive observed a basement window in the rear of his home had been broken out. A rock was located in the basement. Nothing appeared to be missing, but some items were disturbed.

Public Intoxication

  • On April 16, at 10:58 p.m., police responded to Big Heads, 601 York Road for an unknown medical emergency. A male, later identified as David James II, 39, from the 300 Block of greenhill Road in Willow Grove, was lying in the middle of the parking lot in the pouring rain. James was placed under arrest and cited from Public Drunkenness.
