DUI

  • On April 16, at 2:39 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle being operated by William Conner, 38, of the 400 Block of Davisville Road. An officer on partol observed this vehicle traveling south on York Road. This vehicle was observed wearing between the two south bound lanes of traffic. After the vehicle was stopped Conner was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested and submitted to chemical breath test and his Blood Alcohol levels was found to be 0.124 percent. Conner is charged with DUI.
  • On April 22, at 3:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Just Like Home Daycare Center on Byberry Road for a report of an intoxicated parent who was leaving the center in a vehicle with his child. The vehicle in question was observed by an officer on Exton Road in Hatboro. This officer observed traffic violations and conducted a traffic stop. William McGuckin, 46, of the 200 Block of Abbot Road in Hatboro, was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Upper Moreland Police Department for a chemical breath test. His Blood Alcohol Level was found to be 0.167 percent. McGuckin was charged with DUI, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and a related traffic offense.

Underage Drinking

  • On April 18, at 11:07 p.m, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle that made a right turn at the intersection of Fitzwatertown Road and Easton Road while facing a red traffic light. This intersection is posted no turn on Red. All the occupants of the vehicle were found to be under the age of 21. The officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from within the vehicle. The front seat passenger was identified as Britany Rampolla, 20, of the 4600 Block of Longshore Ave. in Philadelphia. She admitted to having consumed alcohol and was found with an empty bottle of alcohol. She was cited for underage drinking and then released.
  • On April 23, at 2:36 a.m., an officer on patrol conducted an investigatory stop of a male seen walking through the property of the Upper Moreland High School in the early morning hours. This male was found to have been drinking. He was arrested, cited for Underage Drinking and released to a parent.
