DUI

  • On April 30, at 2:45 a.m., Nsikan Usen, 25, of the 100 Block of Brandywine Drive in Marlton, N.J., was stopped by police after an officer observed several vehicle code violations. When the officer made contact with Usen he appeared to be impaired. He was arrested and transported to the Upper Moreland Police Department for chemical testing.  Usen submitted to a chemical breath test which yielded a result of 0.144 percent Blood-Alcohol-Content. Charges of DUI and related offenses have been filed with the court.
  • On April 30, at 10:47 p.m., an officer on patrol observed Leo Synnestvedt travel through the intersection of Davisville Road and York Road while facing a steady red traffic light. When the officer spoke with Synnestvedt, he appeared to be impaired. Synnestvedt was arrested and transported to the Upper Moreland Police Department.  Synnestvedt submitted to a chemical breath tested which yielded a result of 0.103 percent BAC. Charges of DUI and related offenses have been filed with the court.
  • On May 1, at 2:35 a.m., an officer on patrol stopped Johnson’s vehicle as it was traveling north on Warminster Road.  This officer observed the vehicle weaving in the lane of traffic and it crossed the double yellow line several times. Yvette  Johnson, 49, of the 2400 Block of Hamilton Ave. in Rosyln, was found to be impaired.  She was arrested and transported to the Upper Moreland Police Department. She submitted to a chemical breath test which yielded a result of 0.088 percent BAC.  She has been charged with DUI

 

Public Drunkenness / Warrant Arrest

  • On April 29, at 7:15 p.m., officers responded to the Willow Grove Shopping Center for a report of people drinking in a vehicle parked in the lot. Officers located the vehicle which was unoccupied.  As an officer observed the vehicle, Mullins was seen walking back to it carrying an open bottle of beer.  Jamaul Mullins, 34, of the 6700 Block of N. 18th St. in Philadelphia, was cited for a Township Ordinance violation for having an open container of alcohol. Alexander Ganzel Jr., 53, of the 1600 Block of Limekiln Pike in Dresher,  also approached the vehicle.  He was found to be intoxicated with a BAC of 0.149 percent. Officers learned that Ganzel was wanted out of the City of Philadelphia for a probation violation. Ganzel was cited for Public Drunkenness and arrested on the warrant. He was released into the custody of Philadelphia Warrant Unit.
