Police Blotter: SWAT Team Apprehends Robbery Suspect
Upper Moreland Police takes in a suspect, wanted for allegedly beating and robbing a Warminster Township woman.
According to Upper Moreland Police, on the afternoon of Nov. 4, a male allegedly beat and robbed a woman in Warminster Township.
Police in the region were searching all day for the suspect and his vehicle.
In the middle of the night, an Upper Moreland officer observed the suspect's vehicle parked at a house in the 400 block of Robin Road.

Attempts to contact the suspect were unsuccessful so a SWAT team was deployed.
Shortly after 5 a.m., the SWAT team made contact with the suspect who surrendered without incident.
