An apparent purse-snatching at the Willow Grove Giant store Wednesday night turned out to be "more of a domestic issue" that "got out of hand and escalated," police said.
Upper Moreland Police responded Wednesday and were on scene at just after 8 p.m. assessing the situation, Police Chief Michael Murphy told Patch.
"This just happened. Police still on scene," Murphy wrote in an e-mail to Patch at 8:03 p.m. Wednesday. "It was a purse snatching by a person known to victim."
