Upper Moreland will be accepting submissions now through Jan. 21. Being sought are requests for consulting services for a park master plan.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — The township is now seeking requests for proposals for consulting services relating to a master plan for a local park.
Upper Moreland says it will be accepting requests for a one-time contract to perform certain professional services for the township involving the development of a master site development plan for Woodlawn Park.
According to township information, Woodlawn Park is a 9.5-acre community park in the Willow Grove section of Upper Moreland that features a 90-foot baseball field, two tennis courts, play equipment for children, basketball courts, a walking trail and land occupied by the former Woodlawn Elementary School, which is slated for demolition in early 2022.

Township documents call the park a "beloved amenity of the community," saying that a master plan is needed to "identify additional uses for the park and to define possible improvements to the existing features and future locations within the park."
