Aqua Pennsylvania will replace the water main on Old Welsh Road between Lukens and Cummings avenues right behind the Willow Grove Park Mall beginning Tuesday.
The main installation, service transfers, street tie-ins, and final paving restoration is expected to be completed in September. The work and detour hours will be 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily and some Saturdays may be necessary to keep the project on schedule.
Kids can try their hand at some fun science experiments this week (Monday through Thursday) as the Upper Moreland Free Public Library offers GlaxoSmithKline's Science in the Summer program.
