School Budget Adoption, Street Milling This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Upper Moreland.

The Upper School Board will adopt its $56.9 million budget for the 2013-2014 school year during its meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The board meets at at Upper Moreland Intermediate School, 3990 Orangemans Road.
Street milling is scheduled for Monday through Thursday this week (weather permitting). The schedule is as follows: Monday, Margo Lane and Geoffrey and Bartram roads; Tuesday: Ellis Road and Lakevue Drive; Wednesday: Aintree Road, Delft and Lukens lanes; Thursday: Corinthian Avenue and Exton and Bryers roads.
For residents living on those streets, cars must removed from the street by 6:30 a.m. the day of milling. Those who fail to move cars could be subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Portable basketball nets should also be removed from the street and sidewalk area.

Upper Moreland’s Wee summer camps (for kids ages 3 to 6 years old) begin on Monday. The weekly programs, ranging from science and nature to art and sports, continue through Aug. 9.
Also on Monday, the Upper Moreland Youth Lacrosse and Ready4Varsity Lacrosse skills camp begins at 8:30 a.m. at 2668 Byberry Road in Upper Moreland. For more information view Patch’s event calendar, or email coachHIGGINS@aol.com.

The Upper Moreland Free Public Library is hosting Teen Night Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Kids in sixth- through 12th-grades can play big-screen Wii, board and card games and enjoy snacks.
