Snapshot: UMIS Students Paint Pumpkin Globes
Upper Moreland Intermediate School students learn about geography by painting the world on pumpkins.
third-grade students in Mrs. Chalmer’s class have been learning about maps, globes, the continents, the Equator, and the oceans in their geography class. Students were provided a fun hands-on experience involving painting our world on a pumpkin that will stay with them for a lifetime.
