The Upper Moreland Food Truck Festival Takes Place Friday Afternoon At The Middle School
The community can check out a food truck festival Friday afternoon. Proceeds benefit the Upper Moreland Educational Foundation.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — The Upper Moreland community has a chance to sample some delicious foods while at the same time benefiting a good cause Friday afternoon.
The Upper Moreland Food Truck Festival will be taking place from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Upper Moreland Middle School.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Upper Moreland Educational Foundation, which says it provides the community with “enhanced learning opportunities through creative and innovative educational programs,” according to the foundation’s website.

The Upper Moreland Educational Foundation says that it has awarded more than $5,000 in grants to the community over the past few years.
The free event will give the community a chance to try fare from some of the areas best food trucks, according to an event description. Some of the food truck’s in attendance will be run by Have a Ball, Jeremiah’s Custom Cuisine, Cold Stone Creamery, Streetside BBQ, Rooster & the Chick, Kona Ice and Hardy Funnel Truck.

Various crafts and community tables will also be set up at the event, and a variety of children’s activities will be offered by Upper Moreland Township staff.
Live music will be performed by Settlement School and personnel from the YMCA are expected to be in attendance offering various family activities and fun.
The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine at the parking lot of the middle school, which is located at 4000 Orangemans Road in Hatboro.
