Upper Moreland School Board 2021 Election Results: Ticket Split
The Upper Moreland School Board 2021 election race is over and it appears as of Wed. morning that the ticket was split in a partisan manner.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — The race for seats on the Upper Moreland School Board is now over and it appears that the ticket was split, with both Democrats and Republicans securing spots on the body.
The race included four Democrats who were running for full terms — Tiffany Weber, Tom Hasani, Jennifer Solot and LouCrecie Garlanger — as well as Democrat Jolie Price, who was seeking a two-year term on the board. Garlanger was an incumbent seeking reelection.

The Republicans on the ticket who were running for full terms were Lindsay Lindstrom, Kaitlin McLaughlin and Shawn Hopkins. Andrew Runion was the sole Republican running for a two-year term on the board.

As of Wednesday morning, with 100 percent of in-person precincts reporting, it looked as though Democrat Price won election to the two-year term, with 2,868 votes to Republican Runion's 2,622 votes.
Meanwhile, the full-term race showed Democrats Weber and Solot with the most number of votes each — 2,908 and 2,799 respectively — while Republicans Lindstrom and McLaughlin received 2,722 votes and 2,706 votes respectively, essentially splitting the ticket on the board.
Hasani was shown to have garnered 2,701 votes while Hopkins appeared to get 2,603 votes. Garlanger, an incumbent, was shown to have 2,614 votes.
The county election website still shows that there are some outstanding mail-in ballots left to be counted countywide, and these above numbers reflect the in-person precincts and the mail-in ballots that have been counted so far.
