Those interested in filling the two vacant Upper Moreland School Board seats must apply by 4 p.m. today.
UPPER MORELAND, PA — Individuals looking to apply for a seat on the Upper Moreland Township School Board have until Aug. 20 4 p.m. to submit a letter of interest to the board secretary.
The school board currently has two vacant seats and is looking for qualified individuals to apply.
Anyone who is interested can submit a letter and resume to Matthew M. Lentz, school board secretary, at the Upper Moreland Township School District Administration Building: mlentz@umtsd.org.

Applicants must be available for an in-person interview on Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m. with the board of school directors during their August meeting that night. The board is expected to choose a candidate during that meeting.
The meeting will take place at the Teaching and Learning Center at the Upper Moreland Elementary School, 3990 Orangemans Road in Hatboro.

Candidates must have lived in the Upper Moreland community for t least a year prior to his/her appointment or election.
