A 26-year-old Warminster man–who frequents Masons Mill Park in Upper Moreland Township–has been reported missing by his parents, who have not seen or heard from him since Friday afternoon.
The family and friends of Robert "Bob" Wahl ask the public to stay on the lookout for a 5-foot, 10-inch man weighing 153 pounds and likely wearing a hat and a backpack.
"This is definitely not like him," said his mother, Lynne Wahl. "He's never done this before. He might take four hours to call me back after I text him, but this is too long."
Mrs. Wahl last saw her son Friday afternoon when she left her home, located in the neighborhood around Meadow Run Park in Warminster Township. Wahl's friends have taken to social media outlets to get the word out, creating a digital poster and sharing it with as many people as possible.
"Except for my daughter who lives in Warwick, we don't have a lot of family close in the area," she said. "But we have a lot of friends, and they are putting feelers out everywhere."
One of her fears is that her son has suffered a relapse into drug use. She said he went to rehab last year and has not taken drugs since. He does not own a car, Mrs. Wahl said, and if he is mobile, he is doing it with his bike.
Besides Masons Mill Park, the High Rocks at Ralph Stover Park is one of his favorite hangouts.
