Jordan’s Way Fundraiser with Last Chance Ranch August 19, 2021

Quakertown-based No-kill Shelter Has Opportunity to Raise $60,000 via Facebook Live Stream Fundraiser

Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue (LCR), a Quakertown-based no-kill shelter has been selected as one of only eight Pennsylvania shelters to participate in an on-site fundraiser broadcast live via Facebook with national rescue charity, Jordan’s Way on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A recent Jordan’s Way fundraiser at a Texas animal rescue raised $58,000. Last Chance Ranch has set their fundraising goal at $60,000.

Jordan's Way was founded by Kris Rotonda in honor of his rescue dog, Jordan, who passed away in 2018. Since then, Kris has been on a mission to raise money and awareness for rescues in all 50 States. To date, these live stream events have raised $1.7 million.

How does this Jordan’s Way fundraiser work? The event will live stream from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021, on the Last Chance Ranch Facebook page: www.Facebook.com/LCRAnimalRescue. Kris Rotonda will be on-site to showcase the LCR adoptable pets and the LCR team will participate in games and challenges to encourage donations.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to raise much-needed funds,” said LCR executive director Jackie Burke. “I’ve already pledged to swim with our pigs in their mud wallow when we hit the $50,000 mark. We expect many faces will be pied, ice buckets dumped, hair will be dyed and maybe, just maybe, we can find someone willing to shave their head when we hit $35,000?”

The public can participate by tuning in to the live stream event and donate. Businesses are encouraged to commit to donation matches. Currently, there is one $5,000 match in place for the first $5,000 of donations. The rescue who raises the most during the Jordan’s Way 50 State Tour will receive an additional $25,000.
