The future of Upper Saucon is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Juan Antonio Mosquera Krik, who are making a positive impact in and around Upper Saucon.

Juan Antonio Mosquera Krik, a student at Penn State Lehigh Valley majoring in chemical engineering, recently earned a $4,000 scholarship from Broadcom, a leading technology company with ties to the Lehigh Valley. The award recognizes Juan’s academic excellence and potential as a future leader in STEM. As a first-generation college student, he shared that the scholarship significantly eases his family’s financial burden and opens doors for mentorship opportunities within the semiconductor and software industries.

Outside the classroom, Juan serves as a New Student Orientation (NSO) leader, encouraging new students to embrace campus activities and explore opportunities for growth. A linguistics enthusiast, Mosquera Krik enjoys learning languages and engaging with different cultures, reflecting his broad interests and curiosity. With his strong academic foundation and dedication to his field, Mosquera Krik is poised to excel as a future STEM leader.
