Declaration Of Snow Emergency Issued In Upper Southampton Twp.
Upper Southampton Township is warning residents about a storm Sunday bringing snow and ice to the region.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —With a storm bringing snow and ice to the region on Sunday, Upper Southampton Township has issued a Declaration Of Snow and Ice Emergency.
Township officials said the regional office of the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Bucks County from 7 a.m. Saturday through 10 p.m. on Sunday.
With the weather possibly causing injury, damage, and suffering to property, the township has declared the emergency to help traffic flow and combat snow and ice hazards on emergency routes (all streets in Upper Southampton Township).

Officials said when the Emergency Management Coordinator declares a snow and/or ice emergency, it is unlawful, at any time during the snow emergency, for any vehicle to be parked anywhere on the snow emergency route.
The emergency will be in effect from 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. on Monday.
