Fire Under Investigation In Upper Southampton Twp.
Lower Bucks County fire crews responded to a building fire on Knowles Avenue Thursday morning.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A building fire that took place on Knowles Avenue Thursday morning is under investigation, fire officials said.
The Southampton Fire Company was dispatched at 11:14 a.m. Thursday to the 600 block of Knowles Avenue for a reported building fire.
Chief 2 arrived and spotted smoke showing from the building.

Engine 2 arrived and went into service with an attack line.
"Due to the quick action of workers on the scene with fire extinguishers, property damage was greatly minimized," the fire company said.

The fire was placed until control shortly thereafter.
Southampton Fire Company was assisted by the Northampton Township Fire Department, Feasterville Fire Company, Huntingdon Valley Fire Company, and the Bryn Athyn Fire Company.
The Bucks County Fire Marshal's Office was also on the scene investigating the cause.
