House Fire Reported In Upper Southampton Twp.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Southampton Fire Company responded to a house fire on Willow Street on Monday night.

Fire officials said the fire was in the 1000 block of Willow Street in the township's Willopenn section.

The fire chief arrived to find a battery on fire with a minor extension to the siding of the house.

The fire was quickly extinguished and companies were released shortly thereafter.

The Northampton Township Fire Department and Warminster Fire Department assisted.

Following the fire, crews headed over to JDM Materials to practice the deployment and advancement of our 400-foot-long line into large commercial buildings.

The “400 footer” is often used when we have areas like a large setback from a property, an apartment building with a courtyard, or large warehouse buildings where our 200-foot attack line doesn’t reach, fire officials said.
