The Bucks County Seed Share saves, collects, and freely shares open-pollinated seeds for home gardeners. It offers a venue and programming to support sustainable gardening practices.

Founders Jean Kuhn and Heather Guidice said in a letter to its members that its inaugural year was successful.

"We are filled with gratitude to all who shared, and continue to share, their knowledge, skills, seeds, and time. What started as an idea brainstormed among a few friends has grown into a resource for hundreds. Let's keep growing."
