What's The Racquet? It's Pickleball Introduced In Upper Southampton
Popular recreational activity is a hit in Bucks County communities. Another session is planned for Oct. 15.
UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Pickleball has arrived.
The Upper Southampton Township Parks & Recreation Department is introducing the popular recreation activity from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Southampton Youth Center.
Parks and Recreation officials are asking anyone interested in learning how to play the racquet sport popular with adults and children can do so with certified Pickleball Pro Stan Shoemaker Sunday.

Registration is free and can be done on the parks and recreation website.

Another session is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15.
Paddles will be provided. It is suggested to wear comfortable sneakers too.
