Boyce Middle School Students Raise Money for MDA

A charity basketball tournament brought in $1,500 to help a student with her campaign to raise money for MDA.

Boyce Middle School students raised money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Pittsburgh during their annual “March Madness” basketball fundraiser.

The charity tournament brought in $1,500 to help student Rachel Tudi with her campaign to raise money for MDA.

Matthew Dudley, a teacher who works with Rachel, said the school has rallied around her since she had hip surgery in January. The donations from the tournament will be funneled to her “Rachel’s Rockstars” team with the Pittsburgh area MDA.
