South Fayette Water Main Break Renewed Despite Repair Attempts

A third section broke last night around midnight. Pennsylvania American Water has no estimate when service will be restored or roads opened.

Pennsylvania American Water repaired a second section of the 36” water main along Boyce Road in South Fayette Township last evening, when a third section broke around midnight last night.Β 

Crews are on scene making repairs. As yet the company has noΒ estimate when water service will be resorted.

Boyce Road between Mayview and Washington Pike will remain closed until further notice.

Pennsylvania American Water customers in the affected area may be experiencing low pressure, or no pressure, discolored or cloudy water.

Customers can bring containers to a water buffalo staged at Boyce Plaza off of Boyce Road in Upper St. Clair, or to the 7-11 on Boyce Road in South Fayette Township to fill for drinking water.
