Upper St. Clair Implementing New School Start, End Times
Here's what you need to know about the 2023-24 school year in the Upper St. Clair School District.
UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA — It was a quick summer, wasn't it? But it's time for classes to resume in the Upper St. Clair School District, and according to the district website, here is what you need to know to prepare for the 2023-24 school year:
The first day of school for students in grades 1-12 is Aug. 23. For kindergarten families, Aug. 23 and 24 will be used to conduct welcome events and orientation, with the first regular day of classes beginning on Aug. 25.
Class times have changed throughout the district. First, the new high school times: Classes that started at 7:30 a.m. last year now will begin at 8 a.m. Dismissal time will be 2:45 p.m.

The elementary school day will begin at 8:35 a.m. and end at 3:05 p.m. Middle schools will start at 8:55 p.m. with dismissal at 3:35 p.m.
With likely much relief to students, the school year will end June 6, 2024.
