Upper St. Clair Police Officer Comes To Injured Hawk's Aid

The majestic bird was injured by a vehicle Tuesday.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - A hawk injured its wing after being struck by a car on McLaughlin Run Road Tuesday and Upper St. Clair police responded immediately. Officer Dean Majcher removed the hawk safely from the roadway and stayed with the injured bird until animal control officers arrived.

The hawk was taken to the Humane Animal Rescue Wildlife Center in Verona, where it is recovering from its injury.
