Upper St. Clair School Named A 2023 National Blue Ribbon School
The school is only one of two in Western Pennsylvania to receive the honor.
UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA — Thirteen schools in Pennsylvania were among about 350 nationwide named Tuesday as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2023 by the U.S. Department of Education. One of them is in the Upper St. Clair School District.
Schools received the designation based on overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student groups on assessments, the education department said in a news release.
Boyce Middle School was one of only two Western Pennsylvania schools to earn the blue ribbon honor. The other was West Allegheny High School in Imperial.
