  • School District Accuses Mom of Harassment: It was one of the most talked about stories of the week. The Upper St. Clair School District pressed charges against a local mother at the magistrate's office, including one count of terroristic threats. The prosecutor accused the mother of threatening to kill a school employee after she asked to reschedule a meeting. Both parties came to an agreement and the case will be reviewed in 90 days. • Permanent Lighting at Boyce Mayview Park: The Upper St. Clair Athletic Association and Miracle League are requesting that the township get permanent lighting at Boyce Mayview Park so they can play their games after sundown. However, the USC CLS is against the move, due to the cost and light pollution, among other reasons. Click here to see the full story.
  • Wiltshire Park Renovations: The Upper St. Clair Public Works Department and Parks and Recreation Board agree that improvements are needed at Wiltshire Park, including the resurfacing of the basketball courts and roller hockey rink and a new playground. What happens will depend on funding. Read more here.
