Her body was found in a Bridgeville creek Thursday morning.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - An Upper St. Clair woman appears to be the victim of Wednesday night’s severe storms and flash flooding. The body of Wendy Abbott, 64, was found Thursday morning in the McLaughlin Run Creek in Brdigeville, township officials said.
Abbott was reported missing by a family member during the severe weather. Her vehicle was found abandoned on a roadway in the McLaughlin Run Road and Morrow Road area. The Upper St. Clair police, fire and public works departments and several other agencies initiated a search for her.
Upper St. Clair declared a state of emergency early Thursday because of the flooding. Morrow Road Bridge is closed until further notice because of the flood damage.
