Work to Begin on Andy Warhol Bridge (Seventh Street) on Thursday, September 4
Flaggers will be on hand to direct vehicular traffic around the work which is expected to be complete by the end of that same day.

The Allegheny County Department of Public Works today announced that construction work to install two temporary bike lanes on the Andy Warhol Bridge (Seventh Street Bridge) will begin onThursday, September 4, at 9:30 a.m. following the morning rush hour. Flaggers will be on hand to direct vehicular traffic around the work which is expected to be complete by the end of that same day.
County Executive Rich Fitzgerald announced earlier today that temporary bike lanes will be installed on the Warhol Bridge in advance of the Pro Walk/Pro Bike Conference. The conference, which opens on Monday, September 8th and concludes on Thursday, September 11, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center emphasizes that greater access to walking and bicycling will create healthier individuals, cohesive neighborhoods and vibrant communities.
The two separated bike lanes, one in each direction, as well as temporary signage noting the addition of the lanes, and channelizers will formally open on Friday, September 5th and will remain in place through Saturday, September 13th.
