2 Charged With Growing Marijuana In Warminster
There was a "sophisticated" marijuana growing operation in the woman's garage in Warminster, according to police.
WARMINSTER, PA — A woman from Warminster and a man from Philadelphia have been charged with running a marijuana-growing operation out of the woman's home, according to police.
Police say Rebecca Ann Walsh, 38, and Shane Twyman, 39, were running the operation out of Walsh's home on the 1200 block of Irma Road.
Warminster Township Police say they got a tip on Sept. 18 that the two were growing marijuana in Walsh's garage.

A search warrant was served at the home and officers found what they call a sophisticated growing operation including grow tents, lights and chemicals, with marijuana plants in various stages of growth.
According to police, investigators found that the growing equipment was supplied by Twyman.

Both Walsh and Twyman were charged with manufacture, possession and possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, conspiracy and criminal use of communication facilities. All are felonies.
Both were arraigned and released on $10,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled for later in the month.
