Warminster Declares Disaster Emergency For Storm

Warminster Township officials issued the weather alert in the wake of a snow and sleet storm expected to hit the region on Friday.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Township officials have issued a Declaration of Disaster Emergency for the incoming snow/ice storm on Friday.

Warminster Police will be enforcing all snow ordinances during this time.

Warminster Police seek the community's help in removing all cars and vehicles from the roadway, so snowplowing operations are not delayed.

Per Township Ordinance No. 756, it shall be unlawful to park, or allow to be parked, any motor vehicle on any road or street within the township when an emergency has been declared by the township manager or his/her designee until rescinded.

No person removing snow or ice from public sidewalks or private property shall throw, shovel, push, plow, or otherwise move snow or ice into the public street.
