2 Police Officers Promoted In Warminster
The police officers were sworn in to their new positions at the recent Warminster Township Supervisors meeting.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Two police officers were promoted at the final Warminster Township Board of Supervisors meeting of the year.
Police officers James Belvin and Ryan Bunda have been promoted to the rank of corporal at the supervisors' meeting earlier this month. Both were sworn in by District Justice Christoper E. O’Neill.
Belvin, who grew up in Langhorne Borough, was a 1992 graduate of Neshaminy High School. He attended the Montgomery County Police Academy and graduated in 1997.

Belvin began his career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. In 1999, he became a part-time police officer on a part-time basis for the Yardley Borough, Penndel Borough, and Langhorne Borough police departments.
In 2004, Belvin joined the Warminster Township Police Department as a full-time police officer.

Since joining the Warminster Township Police Department, he has received various certifications in gang investigations, drug trafficking, and hostage negotiation. Belvin is a founding member of the department's Highway Patrol Division and is a member of the Bucks County Major Incident Response Team (MIRT). He is married and has two children.
Bunda, who grew up in Bristol Borough, is a graduate of Bristol High School. He attended Cabrini College, where he majored in criminology and minored in history.
Bunda attended the Montgomery County Police Academy and began his career in 2013 as a part-time police officer with the Tullytown and Bristol Borough Police Departments. In 2016, he joined the Warminster Police Department. Bunda is a member of MIRT and also serves as a Defensive Tactics instructor. He is married and has three children.
“It gives me great pride to announce the promotion of these two outstanding officers, Ryan Bunda and James Blevin, to the rank of corporal,” Police Chief James C. Donnelly III said. “Their hard work, integrity, and dedication to serving our community have stood out at every turn. I’m confident they will continue to lead with honor and reinforce the high standards of the Warminster Police Department.”
