Ann's Choice Offers a Personalized Approach to Discovering Its Vibrant Lifestyle

Ann's Choice invites prospective residents and their families to explore the community at their own pace--with no added pressure.

When it comes to researching a retirement community, there's nothing quite like seeing it for yourself. At Ann's Choice, an Erickson Senior Living community in Bucks County, Pa., there are countless ways to do just that!

From one-on-one appointments to informational events and group tours, Ann's Choice invites prospective residents and their families to explore the community at their own pace--with no added pressure.

"We really focus on providing an abundance of information and building relationships," says Sales Associate Marty Kusters. "We want prospective residents to feel comfortable asking questions and have all the insight they need to ensure Ann's Choice is the right community for them."

"Our sales counselors spend up to two hours with a guest during an appointment," Kusters says. "It's very relaxed. We learn about what they're looking for, walk through the community, visit different floor plans, and answer any questions."

The introductory events are as educational as they are enjoyable. From tours of the stunning outdoor courtyards to lively gatherings like the recent baby boomer game day, there's always an opportunity to explore the community while connecting with others.

"They're great opportunities to tour the community, learn more about our lifestyle, and mingle with current residents," explains Kusters. "At the end of each event, we get so many comments about what a great experience it was and how it helped them feel confident about taking the next step."

Firsthand experience

Events at Ann's Choice often feature resident ambassadors--current residents who are eager to share their own positive experiences with visitors.

"Our ambassadors love sharing their positive experiences," says Kusters.

Miriam Washington, a proud resident ambassador, finds joy in welcoming guests and new neighbors. "There's such a warmth here," she says. "When people come to visit, they realize everybody says hello. There's a real feeling of family."

And Miriam knows firsthand how important it is to feel at home. When the stairs in her former townhouse became too difficult to manage, she started exploring her senior living options and discovered Ann's Choice.

"I love that I can help others see what life is really like here," she says. "I always say, 'Just do it!' Don't wait until your kids make you move or until you have to move. You're missing out on so much."

Priority List perks

Retirees eager to take the next step can join the Priority List. In addition to saving their spot in line for a residence at Ann's Choice, members receive invitations to exclusive events, updates on community happenings, and access to planning and moving support.

"Once someone joins the Priority List, they're invited to an event that explains everything included in the membership and how they can get started," Kusters shares. "Next, they learn about the benefits of a home visit, which they can schedule with our planning and moving consultant."

She continues, "Members can also attend in-depth, informational seminars, like a roundtable to understand the community's financial structure."

One of the most impactful ways to learn more about Ann's Choice is through the Live the Life program, which allows Priority List members to stay overnight in a furnished suite, utilize amenities, join club meetings, dine at on-campus restaurants, and chat with current residents.

"We even reach out ahead of time and ask what their favorite snacks are so we can stock their guest suite," says Kusters. "It's a way for members to test-drive our vibrant lifestyle before moving in."

A vibrant life awaits

Miriam notes that there is a lot to explore.

"We have over 150 clubs and activities," she says. "You can learn the ukulele, play cards or billiards, or volunteer. We have over 600 volunteers--not just for Ann's Choice but for organizations in the wider community, too."

She adds, "I've asked residents who have been here 10-plus years if they still like it. Their response is, 'No, we love it! And my kids love that I'm here because they know I'm safe and happy.'"

Whether you're interested in scheduling a personal appointment, attending a fun event, or staying overnight, the sales team at Ann's Choice is ready to help you feel right at home.
