Back-To-Back Robberies At Warminster Businesses: Police

Local schools were locked down as police hunted for the suspect.

WARMINSTER, PA — Warminster police are currently searching for a man who robbed two local stores within minutes of each other.

According to police, the unidentified suspect, a white male believed to be in his 40s, entered Minuteman Press, located at 501 N. York Road, just after 11 a.m. He demanded cash from the store and threatened staff by saying he had a gun on his person.

He fled the store onto South York Road just before police arrived.

Minutes afterward, while police were investigating the copy shop robbery, another report of a robbery in progress was made from the nearby Dunkin Donuts, located at 590 W. Street Road. He demanded money in a similar fashion to the previous robbery but ran out of the store empty-handed.

Witnesses say he was last seen running out of the back of the store into the Speedway section of Warminster Township, according to police. He was reportedly seen around the area of Dunkin Donuts just before the attempted robbery.

Due to the nature of the incidences, police contacted the nearby schools of Nativity of Our Lords Grade School and Archbishop Wood High School and requested both schools go into lockdown while the investigation was evolving and ongoing. The lockdown was lifted around 12:50 p.m.

Police and witnesses described him as standing around 5'9 with one patch of hair on the left side of his otherwise bald head. He had a hoodie and mask on at the time of the robberies.
