Bar Patron Fights With Police, Marijuana Arrest: Warminster Crimes
The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for May.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for May, including a marijuana arrest.
These are the criminal incidents:
- Officers were dispatched to Center Point Place near Planet Fitness for a report of threats. A man stated that a man he knew confronted him and showed a weapon that he had in his waistband. The 26-year-old man will be charged with Disorderly Conduct and Harassment.
- Officers responded to Phillips Road for a well-being check. When officers arrived, they spoke with a woman who stated that her father had beaten her with a belt for punishment regarding pictures on her cell phone. The 54-year-old man was taken into custody, processed, and arraigned. Bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000.
- Officers responded to Big Head's Tavern on County Line Road for an unwanted woman who was refusing to leave. The 49-year-old woman was arguing with police and yelling. The woman was given a courtesy ride home and will be cited for Public Drunkenness.
- While on routine patrol around Nativity School in a posted school zone, an officer observed a vehicle traveling above the 15-mph posted speed limit. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer observed a mason jar filled with suspected marijuana in the console. The 21-year-old man was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and driving a vehicle at a safe speed. Bail was set at $10,000 unsecured.
- Police officers were dispatched to Dogwood Road for a report of a domestic in progress. When officers arrived, the man had left the scene. The man was not allowed on the property and pushed his way inside the house. The 41-year-old man will be charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, Harassment, and DUI. The man was arraigned, and bail was set at 10 percent of $20,000. The man was transported to Bucks County Prison.
- Police were dispatched to the area of Street and Mearns Roads for a report of an erratic driver who had almost caused an accident and was slumped over the wheel at traffic lights. Officers were updated that the vehicle had pulled into AAA on Street Road. When officers arrived, they observed the vehicle had two flat tires. Officers determined that the 37-year-old man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The man failed field sobriety tests and agreed to submit blood for testing. Pending Blood Alcohol results, the male will be charged with driving under the influence. The man was taken to headquarters to be processed and released to a friend.
