Man Identified In Bucks Co. Fatal Wood Chipper Accident
The Bucks County Coroner has revealed the identity of the man who died after being stuck in a wood chipper in Lower Southampton Township.
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The man who died after being stuck in a wood chipper on Monday afternoon has been identified.
Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi said that John Iskra of Feasterville-Trevose was the victim in the accident at a work site on Valley View Road, police said.
Campi said that the manner of death and cause of the accident is still pending.

Police Chief Ted Krimmel said police, fire crews, and EMS responded to the unit block of Valley View Road for an industrial rescue.
Authorities found a man in his 60s who was stuck in a wood chipper. Police said he died from his injuries. Action News 6 reported that the man was working outside when part of his body became caught in the machine.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time," the police chief said.
Police responded along with Lower Southampton and Penndel fire departments, the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad, and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office.
