'Blackout' Protest Planned Friday By Warminster Democrats
The Warminster Township Democratic Committee is expressing its outrage over recent federal government actions by the Trump Administration.

WARMINSTER, PA —Just days after holding a protest in front of Tesla over the federal government cuts being made by Elon Musk and President Donald Trump, the Warminster Township Democratic Organization is continuing its protests of decisions made by the administration.
The party is urging its members to participate in a "blackout" to express their outrage over recent federal government actions.
The "Blackout" begins at midnight Friday and lasts until 11:59 p.m.

The Warminster Township Democratic Organization said the "blackout" is the first step to counter the attack on DEI (Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion).
Under the "Blackout," the party urges its members not to make any purchases, including not shopping in a store, online, at Walmart or Amazon, Best Buy, McDonald's, or other fast-food chains.

It also suggests skipping buying gas or visiting any major retailers on Friday.
If anyone spends money on Friday, the party suggests supporting small businesses in Warminster and the Philadelphia region.
Party members gathered Saturday along York Road to display signs against the moves by Musk, who owns Tesla, in his direction by Trump in leading DOGE. (The Department of Government Efficiency.)
"Disrupting the economy for one day sends a strong message," the party said. "If they don't listen, we make the next blackout longer."
