Two people died, and 20 people were hospitalized in the gas explosion that caused a partial collapse of the building in the 900 block of Tower Road on Tuesday.
The gas explosion is under investigation.
"Muthoni was a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional who devoted her life to caring for others," her GoFundMe profile said. "Her kindness, professionalism, and selfless service touched countless lives. Her sudden passing has left her family, friends, colleagues, and the community in deep shock and heartbreak."
PECO Energy utility crews were on the site responding to reports of a strong gas odor inside the facility. Moments later, an explosion tore through part of the building, shattering windows and prompting a response from emergency crews in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
"As the family grieves, they are also confronted with unexpected funeral and memorial expenses during this incredibly difficult time," fundraiser organizers said. "We are raising funds to support Muthoni’s family, help cover funeral and related costs, and provide stability as they begin the long journey of healing."
