What: Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County for the grand re-opening of Thunderbird Lanes! 5 p.m.-6 p.m. reception; 6 p.m.-9 p.m. bowling.

Cost: $20.00 per person/$25.00 at the door (Includes bowling, shoe rental, food and refreshments, and t-shirt).
BEEF & BEER

Where/when: Squirrel Murphy's, 872 E. Street Rd., Warminster, Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
What: Help the Emsley's, a local family that has raised thousands for autism foundations. They need help with hospital bills and home care after the father received a leg amputation.
Cost: $30 per person, $50 per couple
CAT TALES BAKE SALE FUNDRAISER
Where/when: PetSmart, 934 W. Street Rd., Warminster, Sat. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: Cat Tales, Inc., a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue, is holding its annual fundraising bake sale outside the PetSmart on Street Road in Warminster. Delicious home made baked good will be available for purchase, including goodies for Dad for Father's Day.
Cost: Depends on what you buy.
CENTENNIAL SINGERS SPRING CONCERT
Where/when: Log College Middle School, 730 Norristown Rd., Warminster, Sat. from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
What: The Singers dedicate this concert to the memory of the group’s remarkable creator and first director, Lonny Strang. Under the current direction of Lisa VanHeldorf, accompanied by piano virtuoso Charles DeMets, the program will include spirited offerings from Hayden to Hammerstein and beyond.
Cost: Free
SOUTHAMPTON CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY CONCERT
Where/when: Old School Meetinghouse, 1256 2nd Street Pike, Upper Southampton, Sun. at 3 p.m.
What: The Southampton Chamber Music Society presents the first concert of its 22nd season. Doris Dungan, flute, Emily Guglielmi, violin, James Day, viola, Carolyn Ellman, cello, and Cheryl Dungan Cunningham, harp, will perform Debussy's Sonata for Flute, Viola & Harp, Mozart's Concerto for Flute & Harp in an arrangement by Bob Litterell, Giordani's Trio in G Major for Flute, Viola & Cello, and Kodaly's Intermezzo for String Trio.
Cost: $14, $9 for students and seniors.
COMMUNITY RECYCLING DAY
Where/when: The Episcopal Church of the Redemption, 1101 2nd Street Pike, Upper Southampton, Sat. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: All local residents and businesses are invited to bring old tires and batteries to the Church so they can be disposed of properly for a small donation. Residents are also invited to drop off any items made of metal, stainless steel, aluminum or brass, at no cost.
Cost: Free, asking for small donations for pick ups and difficult items.
MARY PICKERSGILL AND THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER
Where/when: The Moland House, 1641 Old York Rd., Hartsville, Sun. at 1:30 p.m.
What: Join Mary Pickersgill (reenactor) as she talks about her creating the flag that flew over Fort McHenry, which inspired the writing of our National Anthem. There will also be a traditional ceremony honoring our flag, aided by special guests from the Tamanend Gold’n’Blues Choir and Boy Scout Troop 5.
