Feds Indict Bucks Co. Catholic School Teacher On Child Porn Charges
The longtime teacher at Nativity of Our Lord Parish School in Warminster was supposed to be in court Monday, but was arrested by the FBI.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Federal charges have been filed against a longtime Bucks County Catholic school teacher for child pornography possession, one day after he was arrested by the FBI before a court appearance.
Richard Adamsky, 66, of Warminster, was arrested Tuesday and charged by indictment with one count of receipt and attempted receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney David Metcalf said.
Adamsky, a teacher at Nativity of Our Lord Parish School in Warminster, was arrested by the Warminster Police Department at his home in late June.

He was expected to make his initial appearance in federal court in Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Authorities said once Adamsky is indicted by the federal government, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office will withdraw its charges, and the case will be in the hands of federal officials.
No reason was given why the charges are now in federal hands. Patch has sent an email to the U.S. Attorney's Office seeking an explanation.
According to the federal filings, Adamsky knowingly received images of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct on June 15, 2024. The indictment further alleges that Adamsky possessed two computers and two flash drives containing images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, including minors under age 12.
If convicted, Adamsky faces a maximum possible sentence of 40 years’ imprisonment, with a mandatory minimum term of five years in prison.
Adamsky coached football, softball, basketball, and track and field at Nativity as well as Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, the Warrington Athletic Association, Lenape Middle School in Central Bucks, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said.
The images found on electronic devices belonging to Adamsky were of girls in the same age group that he taught at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School on Street Road in Warminster, authorities said.
The investigation into Adamsky began on March 30, 2025, when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reported to law enforcement the possible downloading or obtaining of child sexual abuse material. Investigators tracked the IP address of the person who uploaded the image to Adamsky’s home in Warminster, according to the criminal complaint.
Adamsky has been a teacher at the school for over 40 years and was a staff member through the end of the school year, officials confirmed.
