BUCKS COUNTY, PA —One of Bucks County's two abortion clinics will be closing Friday, Planned Parenthood Keystone has announced.

Planned Parenthood Keystone cited "challenging times" in its decision to shut its Warminster Health Center at 610 Louis Drive on Friday, the non-profit agency said.

Once it closes, Planned Parenthood Keystone will have one remaining Bucks County location at 2185 Galloway Road in Bensalem Township.

"Our patients look to us as a safe space for high-quality, compassionate care, and we have a responsibility to provide that care consistently, even in challenging times," the press release began. "To keep up with the changing healthcare environment, and to ensure our patients receive the best care they can, we have made the difficult decision to close our Warminster health center."

Planned Parenthood said services in Warminster will continue until Friday.

County patients will continue to receive health care in Bensalem, which Planned Parenthood said is minutes from the Warminster site, its mobile app PP Direct, and its telehealth program.

Abortion is an issue in the presidential election between Joseph Biden and Donald Trump following a U.S. Supreme Court decision two years ago in which abortion access is now a state-by-state issue. The court's decision overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade case making abortion access a constitutional right.

"As abortion access continues to be threatened across the nation, PPKeystone remains staunchly committed to remaining an access point for abortion care," Planned Parenthood Keystone stated.

More than 70 percent of its patients choose medication abortion, and patients will continue to access this form of abortion care through our Bensalem health center as well as through telemedicine abortion, the organization said.

Its Fund for Choice will continue to offer financial support for patients seeking abortion care, whether its travel, lodging, or other financial barriers.

"We are incredibly proud of our exceptional employees, who demonstrate our values and remain dedicated to carrying out our mission every day," Planned Parenthood said. "And we remain grateful to our generous supporters who continue to show up for us through these challenging times. Planned Parenthood Keystone will continue prioritizing actions that are in the best interest of our employees, our patients, and our communities."
