County Line Road Zip Code Changing In Warminster

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Some County Line Road residents will be seeing their zip code change next month.

Warminster Township officials said residents with a zip code of Hatboro, PA 19040, will see it change to Warminster, PA 18974.

All of the residents currently live in Warminster Township and within the Centennial School District.

The change goes into effect on Sept. 13.

The move was made after township officials and the post office reviewed addresses along the County Line Road corridor in Warminster Township.

They have informed all property owners of the impending change. An address change letter has been sent to the Bucks County Board of Assessments, local government, taxing authorities, and the township's emergency services.

Officials said the duplicate addresses on both sides of County Line Road caused delays for EMS, police, and fire department responses, confusing locations for Bucks and Montgomery County 911 emergency dispatchers.

Property owners with tenants, property managers, or multiple businesses will need to forward this information and share all mailed information regarding their new address.

Each property owner, tenant, and business will then need to identify all their accounts, mortgages, utilities, and alarm system monitoring agencies, government IDs, and any other agencies to make the change as if they were moving to another location.
