COVID-19 Outbreak Will Close Warminster Senior Center For A Week

WARMINSTER, PA —The Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center will be closed temporarily for a week due to an outbreak of COVID-19 cases.

The center posted an urgent notice late Tuesday afternoon that it will be closed starting Wednesday and that the center won't reopen again until Wednesday, Nov. 16.

The closure is due to a "significant number of staff, volunteers and members testing positive for COVID and ill at this time," the center's notice states.

The center will resume all activities on Nov. 16.

"This decision was made out an abundance of caution and for the safety of our people," the center's notice said. "We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but everyone's health is a priority."
